A candle exists for one purpose: To bring light into dark places. The 7th Candle is lit for the people who wounded us. The people who took pieces of us. The people whose darkness spilled into our lives. Not because they deserve our prayers. But because darkness has taken enough already.
The 7th Candle is the part of you that refuses to go out. The light that remains after the heartbreak, the tragedy, the diagnosis, the loss, the goodbye. The fire touched you. But it didn't take you with it.

Four years ago, I almost lost my life.
In a world full of darkness, I learned to always look for the light. Almost losing my life taught me that the deepest wounds don’t just leave scars. They change the way we see the world, the way we love, the way we grieve, and the way we find our way back to ourselves.
The 7th Candle was born from the belief that our deepest wounds can become our greatest source of light. And if we fight hard enough in this life, to not only survive, but to live, then maybe in all the darkness, we too can become that light for someone else.
My story is a testament to the power of faith, family, community, and love. To believing there is light, even when you are too broken to see it yourself. But if you fight, if you love, if you chose the light over the darkness, the forgiveness over hate, then one day you realize that even though the darkness changed you, it is the light carried you home.

Because none of us were meant to do this alone.
